At the heart of the Languedoc, between the Mediterranean and the mountainous Haut Cantons of the Hérault department, and in the valley of the river Thongue, Mas Farchat is a vineyard which has been cultivated by four generations of the same family. It lies in the Pézenas region where vines have been grown since Roman times.
Winemaker’s daughter, Helen Jougla continues the family tradition by focusing on quality linked to an exceptional soil and ancestral knowledge.
The AOP Languedoc-Pézenas derives its distinctiveness basalt flows that occurred there a million years, associated with shale and limestone soils that make up the diversity of the terroir of the Coteaux du Languedoc.
